Welcome to TamingRisk Academy. The following conditions govern your use of this site, which is provided by BRT Publications LLC. If you access this site, you accept these conditions. Please read these carefully. These terms of use are subject to change by TamingRisk Academy at any time at its this discretion. Your use of this site after such changes are implemented your acknowledgment and acceptance of the changes.
Refund Policy
TamingRisk Academy provides a 30-day, money-back guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with any product for any reason, you have thirty (30) days from purchase to request a full refund. It is assumed that after thirty (30) days after purchase, you are satisfied with the materials and services provided by TamingRisk Academy, and no refund will be granted. Note: Any completed courses taken as part of a bundle of courses or a subscription will have their individual price subtracted from the bundle or subscription price. Programs taken online will not be refunded if you have already taken the final quiz or exam and received a Certificate of Completion—contact Customer Service at 1-800-585-4431 or email [email protected].
License and Site Access
TamingRisk Academy grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site and not download (other than page caching) or modify it, or any portion of it, except with express wrote consent of TamingRisk Academy. You may not use this site for any other purpose, including any commercial purpose. You may not co-brand this site, frame this site, or hyperlink to this site, without TamingRisk Academy's express prior written consent. To access this website, its services, or its content, you may be asked to provide certain registration information. Your use of this website is a condition that all the information you provide on this site will be correct, current, and complete. If TamingRisk Academy believes the information you provide is not correct, current, or complete, TamingRisk Academy has the right to refuse you access to this site or any of its resources and to terminate or suspend your access at any time. You agree to cooperate with TamingRisk Academy in removing any unauthorized co-branding, framing, or linking immediately.
Grant of License
Upon your payment of the applicable licensing fee for an individual course, TamingRisk Academy, as Licensor, grants to you the LICENSEE, a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to access, view, and use online the Course(s) you select for a period of 365 days or one (1) year. After that date, only the certificate of completion is available. If you purchase a bundle of courses or subscription that includes access to multiple courses, online courses are taken as part of that bundle or subscription are available for 365 days or one year from the date the course is first accessed. If you purchase a time-based subscription, courses in that subscription shall be available for that subscription's time period (typically 365 days or one (1) year), commencing on the date payment is received.
Copying
You may download and/or print for your personal use only, no more than one (1) copy of any Course(s) for which you are registering and paying the applicable fee. You may not modify or create derivative works from the Course(s) or related materials. Except for making one copy of limited portions of the Content, or downloading as expressly authorized by TamingRisk Academy, the Content, in whole or in part, may not be reproduced, transmitted or distributed, in any format (i.e., print or electronic form), without the prior written permission of TamingRisk Academy.
Ownership
All information provided accessible from this site is owned by or licensed to TamingRisk Academy. Except for the limited license expressly granted to you under this Agreement, TamingRisk Academy and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the content and Courses, including any authorized copies and all related materials. The Content may not be copied, distributed, republished, uploaded, posted, or transmitted in any way without the prior written consent of TamingRisk Academy. It shall be a violation of this Agreement if you remove any copyright or other proprietary rights notices from the Courses. This License is not a sale of any original content or any copy. Neither title nor intellectual property rights are transferred to you by access to this site. TamingRisk Academy may, in its sole discretion, terminate the accounts or access rights of members who infringe or otherwise violate copyright or other intellectual property rights.
Reservation of Rights
TamingRisk Academy reserves the right to make changes to the web site, policies, and these Terms and Conditions at any time. TamingRisk Academy reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to add to or delete from the Courses offered; discontinue any particular Course or Courses; release, from time to time, updated versions of the Course(s); amend this Agreement by posting such amended Agreement on the TamingRisk Academy website, and disclose course completion information to the appropriate reporting agencies as needed. Your use of this website constitutes your agreement to abide by the terms of any amended Agreement. If you disagree to be bound by the terms of such amended Agreement, you may terminate this Agreement as stated in the Refund Policy.
